Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings

The QS ranking attaches great significance to the peer review process, a system of feedback from academics and graduate employers (total weight of 50 %). This kind of feedback may in effect help balance any cultural differences as well as providing humanities-oriented universities with substantial competitive potential.

Masaryk University placed 551st to 600th in the QS World University Rankings 2018.

QS also ranks the world’s top universities in individual subject areas, covering 46 subjects in five broad subject areas: Arts and Humanities, Engineering and Technology, Life Sciences and Medicine, Natural Sciences and Social Sciences and Management.

In latest results, Masaryk university ranked in four QS rankings by subject. MU ranked 201.–250. position in Agriculture & Forestry, 251.–300. in Linguistics, 401.–150. in Medicine and 451.–500. in Biological Sciences.
