Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings

The QS ranking attaches great significance to the peer review process, a system of feedback from academics and graduate employers (total weight of 50 %). This kind of feedback may in effect help balance any cultural differences as well as providing humanities-oriented universities with substantial competitive potential.

In 2017, Masaryk University placed 551st to 600th on the main QS ranking scale.

In addition to the main scale, QS also compiles specialized rankings in five areas comprising a total of 42 disciplines: Arts and Humanities, Engineering and Technology, Life Sciences and Medicine, Natural Sciences and Social Sciences and Management.
